· Project CTM2009-13843-C02-02: Geophysics Obervatory in Livingston Island: Seismic station installation, HF data transmission improvement and continuation of historic data serials.

· Project CTM2010-21312-C03-03: Monitoring and analysis of the geomagnetic and ionospheric characteristics in the Spanish Antarctic Base Juan Carlos I. Ionospheric transequatorial sounding and HF data transmission on real time.

· Project CGL2006-12437-C02-01: Monitoring of the geomagnetic and ionospheric variability at the Livingston Island. Advanced techniques for its characterization and data transmission in the HF band.

· Project REN2003-08376-C02-01: Characterization and channel modelling in Antarctica: Advanced HF communications.

· Project CICYT TIC97/0787-C02: Ionospheric Spread Spectrum Radiolink INTA (El Arenosillo)-La Salle (Ramon Llull University). Complete hardware and software design of the digital radiolink between Huelva and Barcelona using spread spectrum techniques. In cooperation with the Aerospace Technology National Institute (INTA) and the Polytechnic School of La Rábida (Huelva University).

· ENDESA: Definition of the physical layer for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) applications

· ENDESA: Channel sounding and physical layer definition for wideband transmissions in medium voltage lines.

 

COST Actions

 

· European action COST-289: “Spectrum and Power Efficient Broadband Communications”. This action gathers prestigious european researchers in beyond 4G communications and our group has an active participation.

· European Action COST-262: "Spread Spectrum Systems and Techniques in Wireless and Wired Communications". This action gathered prestigious european researchers in spread spectrum systems and our group had an active participation.

· European Action COST-251: "Improved Quality of Service in Ionospheric Telecommunication System Planning and Operation". This action gathered prestigious european researchers in ionospheric communication systems and our group had an active participation.

· European Action COST 271: “Effects of the Upper Atmosphere on Terrestrial and Earth-Space Communications”. This is the continuation of the previous action.
